Two weeks ago during convocation, our BCS Greek teachers offered some brief remarks to our students concerning the importance and preciousness of reading the Greek New Testament. What follows is a summary of my remarks:

God commands the believer to put on the breastplate of righteousness (Ephesians 6:14). The breastplate is a vital piece of equipment, given that the organs which the breastplate protects are vital, especially the heart. The heart is a vital organ.
