What is a classical education?

We focus on nurturing the student’s heart and mind by developing christian virtues and studying ideas that have influential in Western Civilization.

Do you offer STEM classes/What does science and math look like in a classical school?

    • Instead of focusing on specific skills that are job related, we focus on a well-rounded approach that fosters both creativity and flexibility

    • Our elementary students perform hands on lab experiments and our upper school curriculum includes: astronomy, physical science, biology, chemistry and physics.

How do your students perform on standardized tests?

Our students perform at or above national averages on standardized test scores allowing them to attend the colleges of their choice.

What is your average classroom size?

The average class size is 10 to 12.

What is the maximum classroom size?

Maximum class size is 16.

Do you offer After Care?

We offer Club BCS that can be paid for by semester or on an as needed basis.

What time does school begin/end?

School begins at 7:45 am and ends at 2:35pm.

How is the Bible incorporated into the curriculum?

Each teacher refers to Biblical principles and Truths in each of the disciplines in addition to offering specific Bible classes.

What sports do you offer?

How do you handle discipline issues?

The teachers handle minor incidents in class and communicate with the parents. More serious issues are handled with the headmaster.

Are you associated with Bloomfield Hills Baptist Church?

We are a non-denominational Christian school and not associated with Bloomfield Hills Baptist Church. We own our own building.
