Why I Teach at BCS

I teach at BCS because in his dialogue,”Meno,” Plato portrays a young man named Meno questioning Socrates on whether virtue can be taught. Although the two interlocutors reach a rather uncertain answer to the question by end, they agree that a teacher can turn the attention of a student toward that which is True. In light of that understanding, I am happy to teach at a school that focuses on Christ’s redemptive work and the Western Tradition since I believe that those are the things that students’ minds should be turned toward in the hope that they come to see for themselves what is Good.

I also facilitate Speech Meet and am a Mock Trial Coach.
