**Education**

Masters in Elementary Education, Michigan State University; BA, Michigan State University.

**Why I Teach at BCS**

I teach at BCS because, coming from a public-school background, I was awestruck when I saw the classical Christian approach put in place. I am amazed when observing the upperclassman truly know, discern and apply truth using scripture. My heart melts watching my own children form a love for learning and how the youngest of students are trained in obedience to serve as bold and obedient ambassadors for Christ.

**Favorite Bible Verse**

1 Cor 1:4 – “I always thank God for you, because of His grace given you in Christ Jesus.”
