Board Announces New Headmaster of Bloomfield Christian School

The board of Bloomfield Christian School is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Trenton Leach as Headmaster.

Mr. Leach as Claudius

Exceptionally qualified to lead Bloomfield Christian School, Trenton D. Leach (B.A., Indiana State University; M.A., Trinity Evangelical Divinity School), is a native Hoosier who has taught philosophy and theology at Cair Paravel Latin School, an ACCS accredited classical Christian school of over 300 students, in Topeka, KS. During his tenure there, he served as the Dean of the Secondary School and most recently as the school’s Academic Dean. He is currently completing his Ph.D. at Faulkner University’s Great Books Honors College where he is working on research on the intersection between Mortimer J. Adler’s educational philosophy and classical Christian education.

Trent is a lifelong practitioner of the performing arts. He has directed the Upper School dramas for Cair Paravel for the last 12 years, which included an original adaptation of Lewis Carrol’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. In addition to directing, Trent loves to act in community theatre. His most recent roles were with the Topeka Civic Theatre & Academy where he portrayed Claudius in Hamlet and Prospero in The Tempest. When not reading classic sci-fi novels or the works of Fyodor Dostoevsky, Trent enjoys perambulating with his two dogs, Thursday and Maggie.

God in His providence has brought Mr. Leach to Bloomfield Christian School in time for the 2017/18 school year. Please join with the board, staff, and administration in welcoming Mr. Leach to Michigan and to Bloomfield Christian School.
